Hey it's the first day of Winter, and there's a weather advisory here in Sacramento, flights are being canceled, and Christmas is almost here. Today I went to the mall and braved the Christmas shoppers. I wanted to go and see the decorations, the Carolers, and the children as they waited to get there picture taken with Santa Claus. I know that the flat panel is constantly telling us how bad it is out there, but I think it would benefit us if we get back to basics, and look at the world through the eyes of a child this Christmas. This season, break away from the norm and sing a Christmas song, bake cookies for Santa, squeeze your partner tighter, and regardless of what you receive on Christmas day, be cheerful and take notice that you have been blessed with family and friends. My wish for you, is that regardless of the weather, or how many gifts have your name on them, that this Christmas be the best one yet, and take a moment to reflect upon the reason for the season.
